Job Description
The site agent will be the main representative of the company at the construction site. S/he will lead the
coordination of all construction activities at the site, ensuring that all the works are executed to the highest
standards of quality, safety and efficiency in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. Day-to-day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to successful
completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints
2. Preparing daily and weekly Reports-Written and pictorial reports and sending them promptly to the
company management
3. Requisition all materials, and oversee the deliveries and ensure they are done so in adequate time in
line with the construction programme and procurement schedule.
4. Recruiting and appraising casual workers (skilled and unskilled) as necessary
5. Interpreting drawings and specifications
6. Ensure good workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications,
building regulations, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards
7. Carry out toolbox briefings to the site teams and sub-contractors
8. Managing any conflicts which may arise at the site
9. Handling safety, health and environment issues at site
10. Liaising with other stakeholders to ensure that all the work is delivered on schedule and to the
satisfaction of the client
11. Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for
purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff
12. Effectively communicate with the Design Team, through the project manager, to ensure the timely
release of design information.

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or College.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a large construction site, preferably in roadworks or
waterworks
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit or other relevant design and coordination software
4. Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office Suite.
